Rumor Tucker and Fox Part Ways

I would speculate the only way Dominion agreed to settle is for Fox to agree to part ways with their most popular personality
 
Tucker Carlson Is Leaving Fox News

Mr. Carlson has been one of the network's top-rated hosts for many years.

Fox News said Monday that it was parting ways with Tucker Carlson, its most popular prime time host who was also the source of repeated controversies and headaches for the network because of his statements on everything from race relations to L.G.B.T.Q. rights.

The network made the announcement less than a week after it agreed to pay $787.5 million in a defamation lawsuit in which Mr. Carlson’s show, one of the highest rated on Fox, figured prominently for its role in spreading misinformation after the 2020 election.

I like disagreement, but the guy was lying to venerable people and inciting them to hate, it was harmful even if it sold pillows.

In a shocking announcement on Monday morning, the Fox News Channel announced that prime-time host Tucker Carlson is leaving the network.

“Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement. "We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor. "

The announcement came less than a week after Fox News settled a defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems, which had sued the network for false claims about the 2020 election, for $787.5 million hours before opening arguments were to begin. Carlson was among several on-air personalities expected to testify.

the one time he was sued for libel, it was tossed as a bullshit case.

I would take 10 Tucker Carlsons over a Sean Hannity or the rest of the trash on that network

Just because you aren’t sued for libel does not mean you’re not a liar, he’s a whole stick was hate of anything “different”.

He was born a wealthy elitist and will stay that way.

Dissenting. He was lying and his emails showed it. He hated Trump but lied about it. I suppose when you are as conned as you are by Trump and the right, that is just dissension. To the courts, he was simply lying. That is OK. You can find another station to tell you lies.
