Again: Little Girl, Parents Shot After Basketball Rolls Into Neighbor’s Yard:

Most of them are rich little kids running around the country on mommy and daddy's money.

Indeed,

Some loons from France and Canada tried to kill a policeman here at the new police training facility north of Atlanta.

One of those who tried was killed.

AFAIK, all of them are elderly. They are man-children; selfish little fuckwads who don't care what happens to everyone, including their own kids and grandkids, after they die. This is also the reason why they are against anything "green" that protects the environment.

They are losing their youth, and they want revenge for that. Their fathers were honored as veterans as their fathers got older, but they are not honored as veterans, because they are mostly not veterans. They think that is no fair. They see Blacks, Jews, women, homosexuals, etc. out and about, enjoying themselves, and they envy those younger, happier people. And they blame the Democrats for it all.

Lester is a good example of all this. He gave a lifetime of domestic abuse. The police did not take it seriously when he was a younger man. When he became older, the police did not take him seriously. His family wanted nothing to do with him. All he had was FoxNews, an old gun, and his house. It was sad. Maybe prison will actually be better for him.

Putting him to sleep will give him peace. :)

Indeed.

I just posted that he surrendered in Florida.

A DeSantis state.

I hope the police provide protection from the six year old White girl that he shot in the face.

An inch or two up and to the left and she would now be dead.

Reverse the races and we'd be hearing things like, "the basketball rolling toward him from this black delinquent looked suspiciously like a device for concealing a time bomb."

Nonsense, Marty.

A six year old was shot in the face.

Enough with the mierda about bombs in basketballs.

You sound like a child. A petulant child.

I just feel killing is wrong. If we did not have enough food, and someone had to die from lack of food, then yes, pick the 85 year old criminal to die over the 5 year old child. We have enough food for everyone. In fact, we have already factored into our budget paying to keep him alive for as long as possible. It really does not cost us much more.

And maybe letting him have peace is not the point. I very much doubt he will ever be reformed, but there is some slight chance he will take the first step towards reforming, and realize he was wrong.

We all die, sooner or later. "Some people need killing" as the saying goes.

IMO, the most important thing is to protect the public from people who have proved to be dangerous. This asshole proved he is dangerous. Therefore, for public safety, he needs to be neutralized in some manner. Preferably at as low a cost to taxpayers as possible. Home arrest is one way to do that. It's not like he's going to go on the lam like 24 year old Robert Singletary.

The Bible says that killing is a sin. Not just killing people, but all killing. But we need to kill at least plants to stay alive, and suicide is also a sin. We are stuck picking which sin we have to perform, because we are imperfect, and the world is imperfect. If both were perfect, we would never have to kill.

When it comes to killing people, I just believe that there was always another choice. At the last moment, we may have had no other choice, but there were choices leading up to that which forced that no choice. I do not have a logical reason for this belief, but it is more a faith that I need to believe to believe the world is redeemable. And there is no logical reason to not believe there was always an option that did not include killing a person.

The nice thing about prison is it is reversible. If a mistake is made, it can be reversed decades later. If the person reforms himself, it can be reversed decades later. Prosecutors go for the death penalty when emotions are high, but evidence is weak. They hope to kill the defendant, before the emotions wear off, and people ask where the evidence is.

House arrest has the duel problems that it only works if the criminal respects the rules, and the only way for the criminal to continue to live at home is to earn money and to interact with society. Criminals are not known for their respect of rules.

Fuck the Bible. It's good wisdom, but only the ignorant believe it's more than mankind's wisdom and thoughts about existence.

The Bible is full of reasons to execute people. It believes murder is wrong, not killing. Anyone who doesn't understand that point is trying very hard to make an anti-Bible point.

The Bible says "Thou Shall Not Kill", and then immediately after that has some of the roughest scenes of mass genocide apparently instructed by God. Life is like that.

Is that the original English version? LOL

Yes. Mankind is the bloodiest species on the planet.

A six-year-old girl and her parents were injured by gunfire on Tuesday night after a basketball rolled down a residential street in North Carolina and into a man’s yard, enraging him, neighbors told WSOC-TV.

Witnesses told the station that the gunman ran up and down the street, firing until he ran out of bullets.

The Gaston County Police Department said Wednesday they were still hunting for the alleged gunman, identified as Robert Louis Singletary, a 24-year-old man described as “armed and dangerous.”

The young girl, Kinsley White, was hospitalized after being seriously wounded. She was released overnight, family members told Queen City News. Her father, William White, remains in the hospital.

Robert Singletary gave himself up. He's going to be in a world of hurt and, IMO, will blame others for his problems.

The Geneva Bible was written (in English) half a century before the King James Bible, and does not contain "thou". "Thou" was not being used in common speech when the King James Bible was written. It was included in the King James Bible to give it an "old timey feel."

I'm more interested in the exact meaning of the commandment about killing. My understanding is that it means not murdering humans, not about killing a chicken for dinner.
