Did the govt figure a Fox concession would end talk of the obvious truth that Child Molester in Chief Pedo Joe Biden stole the 2020 election?? The case against Fox was extremely weak. Dominion is a public figure and had to show that fox both lied and did it with malice and dominion couldn't do either. Even if the standard media intimidation of juries resulted in a verdict against fox, they would have won on appeal.

Highly unlikely......They settled because the Murdochs as with most of the Corporate Class are unwilling to suffer standing for OLD AMERICA, and because there was no chance that Fox would get a fair trial.

Then fox should say that - "We settled because we knew we would not get a fair trial."
 
Fox had no defense. They lied about the voting machines and named Dominion and Smartmatic on air. There are many emails the court got showing Fox was systematically lying and the talking heads knew it. They went on TV and lied day after day. They were wrecking the voting companies' businesses with lies. Fix Gnus became aware that the proof was out there and they could not hide it. They paid to save money and hopefully not have to tell their viewers about the nearly trillion-dollar payoff they had to make and why.
It is not done. Smartmatic's suit is for double that payoff. Rudy and Sydney are getting sued for telling the lies.

Even if all that is true, it's still free speech. Dominion is a public figure involved in a very public business. Americans have the first amendment right to say the people counting the ballots did a bad job. I'm sure the SC would have sided with fox.

Fox is going to be sued out of existence
