Should Fox hyperlinks be accepted as credible anymore?

When you see a poster here link to a Fox webpage, should they be met with roars of laughter?

A short list of racist lies perpetrated by the Leftist media ...

Chauvin not guilty of racism/hate crime.
The Rittenhouse child
The Covington child
Jussie Smollet
Pres. Trump
Hands up don't shoot
Freddie Gray
Zimmerman
Cambridge police (racist Obama's beer summit fiasco)

Yeah so? You have to prove every link is actually incorrect. To dismiss any link out of hand without of evidence for why that link shouldn't be considered would be intellectually lazy, or in other words leftist.

None of it met the standard of defamation.

Fox forked over three quarters of a billion dollars at the last minute because they knew they had committed defamation with malicious intent, and would get clobbered in court.

Thanks for admitting Fox is an unreliable news source

One would have to be living under a rock for the last thirty years to not know Fox was never about reporting truth. Both Fox, and MSNBC, were created specifically to appeal to a targeted audience, MSNBC frames the facts to fit the scenario they want presented, Fox goes beyond that, often creating facts to support whatever narrative they are selling

The Covington child did. The Rittenhouse child will.

The Chauvin lie caused dozens of murders, $2 billion worth of property damage, and removal of police protection from minority neighborhoods. Not that YOU would care.

This is your brain after watching FOX News!

I was listening to the local NPR this morning. One of the talking heads said that Fox only briefly mentioned settling the lawsuit and then reverted to its usual airing of grievances and fear mongering.

I never click on Fox links here or elsewhere. Just like I don't use links to biased LW sites to prove my points. People who would like to be seen as fair and credible don't post nonsense from cray-cray sites.

Then explain the successful lawsuit(s) by Sandman...

The Russia Lies were absolutely defamation, and sedition .

I think you mean "making claims," rather than creating facts. At best, Fox reports only certain parts of stories that they've chosen to get their audience riled up and tuned in, rather than the whole story. The truth drives their viewers away, as we saw with their drop in audience share when they called the 2020 election for Biden.

Debatable, but since Tucker has already been acknowledged by Fox as lacking credibility, anyone quoting Tucker Carlson should be laughed off the thread.

Tucker Carlson Successfully Argues Nobody Really Believes Tucker Carlson Is Reporting Facts
When Tucker Carlson says on his show “[r]emember the facts of the story; these are undisputed" no reasonable person would believe that he was about to state facts. At least, that was Tucker Carlson's own argument in defending himself from a libel suit....

...According to Judge Vyskocil, “Fox persuasively argues . . . that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer arrives with an appropriate amount of skepticism about the statements he makes." She doesn't stop there, writing that “[w]hether the Court frames Mr. Carlson's statements as exaggeration, non-literal commentary, or simply bloviating for his audience, the conclusion remains the same—the statements are not actionable."

Thanks for tacitly admitting Fox can't be trusted.

Sandman sued 8 media sources and the judge threw them all out as being without merit.

We have no idea what the settlement with CNN is. For all we know they might have given him 40 grand just to go away, the details of that settlement were never made public.

Trump never tried to sue the Russia investigation.l, because it has no merit as a defamation case

I think Fox will just get smarter about lying.

They inadvertently Left a paper trail proving they knew the election wasn't stolen, but decided to lie about it anyway

All they need to do is change their name to "Faux Newz" and they'll be treated like TMZ.

Don't watch FOX and you will be fine. They will miss your viewership.

Well, here's the deal. When a major news network that millions of people watch & believe is telling LIES that undermine American election integrity, it's kind of a problem for everyone. It doesn't go away if a few people stop watching.
