On Wednesday, Mr. Kennedy plans to formally announce that he is challenging President Biden for the Democratic nomination for president. His vaccine skepticism gives him something in common with another candidate: former President Donald J. Trump, who like Mr. Kennedy has blamed childhood vaccines for autism — a discredited theory that has been repudiated by more than a dozen peer-reviewed scientific studies in multiple countries.

trump is looking at some real opponents, because he is seen as weak. Biden is not looking at serious opponents.

I am surprised as anyone. I thought Biden was weaker than he apparently is. I wonder if this is good luck, or the product of Biden's political genius.

I am surprised that anyone thinks Biden is weak. Best president in decades. He deserves a second term.

He is not a serious candidate, so I prefer him be in the Democratic Party. That way he will be out of the race early, and not pulling votes away from Biden in the general election.

But I have been known to over-strategize, so I could be wrong.
 
Some of his family members have publicly rebuked him. His sister Rory Kennedy told CNN she was backing Mr. Biden, while his sister Kerry Kennedy said in a statement, “I love my brother Bobby, but I do not share or endorse his opinions on many issues.”

Ahead of his White House bid, Mr. Kennedy is playing up his family history. He lives in California but plans to make his announcement in Boston, a city closely identified with the Kennedys. He recently tweeted a photo of himself in a vintage “Kennedy for President” T-shirt.

There are none. The only reason Brandon is considered a serious candidate is because he’s the incumbent. And the only reason he’s the incumbent is because he ran against an oaf. And the only reason he had an oaf to run against is because dims DNC nominated anointed hrc.
If the pubs get their head out their ass and nominate a ‘real opponent’, they’ll have a Republican in the WH.

And that is the interesting thing. trump has a dozen serious competitors with exploratory committees. Most of them will not run, but almost certainly some of them will run.

Biden has no serious competitors that I can see. He is seen as strong, unlike weak trump.

Trump should be in prison. If Biden refuses to prosecute Trump for the violent coup he does not deserve a second term.

If that were true, then he would have serious challengers who think they can easily take the nomination from Biden. Where are the serious challengers?
 
Biden is the real deal

He’s a decent guy and displays deference and humility with others


Somehow this day and age that is seen as weakness


I do that all the time in the real world with people


I have actually had people ask me why I have have low self esteem because of my self deprecating style


My answer is always the same


“Oh the long lost art of self deprecating humor”


It’s disarming and a self monitoring to keep your swagger REAL instead of being a trump type clone



I am a bad ass


I KNOW I will fight when needed


I have stood up to huge men who towered over me when the occasion demanded


I don’t need to false puff my self into people being impressed with me


I prefer to smooth the world into a better place


Self deprecation is a great way to help people realize I’m not here to take over


I’m just trying to get along and help where I can


I don’t need to flail people with how awesome I am


That’s for people with no real self esteem



I got the goods inside


I’ve already proven that to myself with real life actions

Think about how this world now sees old ladies?


We are all seen as potential “KARENS”


I LOVE doing the opposite of what people expect in a way that gives them hope for the world


I have always done this


And now it’s even more important for the world to see in action


Be BETTER than the expectations of others for you

I’m understanding

I’m always teasing about my lack of ability in mastering whatever the worker I’m dealing with is doing


I’m praising people for their efforts


Just as much as my old ass can muster


It’s a practice in being a bad ass


Yeah I fuck up now and then


Then I make sure the person dealing with me knows just how much I appreciate them putting up with my failure

Newsom would be a serious challenger... But I do not think he even has an exploratory committee. Newsom looked at Biden, and decided Biden was too strong. I have to admit that surprises me.
