Why are so many of the cans I see littered on the ground Bud Light?

I am living in northern Vermont and I realized that 90% of the empty cans near the roads, on the roads, on playgrounds, on hiking trails and on supermarket parking areas are Bud Light cans. I do a lot of trekking and I never saw an Alchemist or Lawson´s can on the trail. I know that BL is purchased a lot even in VT; but 90%!! Why is that?

Bud Light is the traditional beer of litterers. The litterers get very upset if Bud Light tries to broaden their consumer base.
