It’s not a day on the internet without a fresh batch of absurd outrage. While most of these uproars typically die down quickly, social media’s latest storm has been riding a strange wave of relevance for some time now. And its target is just as surprising: Bud Light.

Yes, America’s most popular beer has become the latest public enemy among ring wingers on the internet. And the reasoning for this proposed “boycott” is just as ridiculous.

The backlash began when actress and TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney shared a sponsored post with Bud Light on her Instagram page. Promoting a March Madness sweepstakes from the brand, Mulvaney also showed off the custom can that the company gifted her in honor of her one-year anniversary of transitioning.

“This month I celebrated my day 365 of womanhood,” said Mulvaney, who has been outspoken about her experience as a transgender woman on social media, “and Bud Light sent me possibly the best gift ever: a can with my face on it.”

Situations arise where I have to side with

the transgendered community that I don't understand

and a beer that I wouldn't use to wash out the avatar's stainless steel bowls.

Still, on morals grounds, I have to do it.
 
Ive been boycotting it my whole life. Its cheap , shit, piss tasting sorry excuse for a beer. In otherwords,....nothings changed.
 
Conservatives have spent the last 50 years (Peter Hitchens says 70) capitulating, failing to fight....it is too late now. The world is in a dark age, one which will likely last hundreds of years, and it will be brutal.

InBev is a Belgian company. I was not aware that foreign entities were allowed to contribute to American political bodies. Now, I know that you jackasses make exceptions for china and russia to contribute to YOUR campaigns, but surely you wouldn't let foreigners give to republicans, right?

Lololol, the facts say otherwise. If it's backfiring why are countless bars seeing enormous drops in bud light sales? And why has the company issued 5 or 6 apologies at this point?

There is a trick to get around that. InBev owns Anheuser-Busch, an American company, which can donate as much as they want. On top of that, InBev can consolidate donations by their American employees.

If you think sales are down, and InBev is in trouble that the stock market has not priced in, you an make a lot of money off of shorting the stock.
 
I’m laughing that Miller Beer just signed Kid Rock, after shooting up all those Bud Lite cans is he really stupid or thinks his fan are stupid enough to not know Miller is owned by the same company that owns Bud Lite?
