It's much more personal.... Plus some of the names, these days...half the time no one knows how to pronounce them...people are so creative, these days....and then that gets people in trouble... For example: If you saw this name, how would you pronounce it? "Sence" You might think "sense"...You would be wrong....That is "S-Ense" As in the letter S, followed by ense.... Much better to say just say Smith....
