Capitalists have literally poisoned almost everybody on earth. Here how they did it;

I think you very well might be.

Bringing up Venus as somehow related to human activity certainly isn't rational.

Did I say anything about human activity?

Since the basis of the thesis if that Capitalism has caused all environmental damage

Thank God!!! Let's stick to Capitalism, which is the topic, not Communism.

Now will we proceed with the discussion about Capitalism and it's potential and actual damages?

Since the basis of the thesis if that Capitalism has caused all environmental damage - it's extremely relevant to point out the fact that what you seek to replace liberty and prosperity with is the actually cause of most environmental problems.

Sorry that it utterly defeats your argument - but you simply don't have much of an argument.

The notion that ' capitalism brings liberty and prosperity ' is, of course, a nonsense.

The 'liberty and prosperity' might be evident among the top-of-the-heap winners in the capitalist ponzi scheme- but it's the poor working bastards supporting the pyramid that see only a virtual reality of it.
Capitalism is for winners and losers- and the latter far outnumber the former. Somebody has to suffer in order for others to wallow.

The ' winners ' of the Forever Chemicals catastrophe knew they were poisoning the rest of us- and they didn't give a hoot then and the fuckers haven't been punished.

We need to find more precise words than capitalism and socialism
because no sophisticated economy,
or society, for that matter,
can possibly exist without both operating in parallel.

There is an abundance of evidence that our actions have created an environment that is much more unhealthy for human life. And we see the correlation in stories like the OP, and increases in the prevalence of certain diseases and conditions.

The question we are left to debate is, what is our tolerance for these things? Are we willing to accept just having a more unhealthy environment, to sustain the way we do things now? Or is it worth exploring change to try to improve conditions in the future?

"“Eco-fascism” is receiving renewed attention following the recent far-right terrorist attack at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. In his manifesto, the perpetrator hailed as an inspiration the 2019 Christchurch attacker, himself a self-declared “eco-fascist,’’ and plagiarised his manifesto’s section on environmentalism which described immigration as “environmental warfare” and ‘’destructive to nature.’’ Notably, the Buffalo attacker also quoted Ted Kaczynski, otherwise known as the Unabomber, excerpting Kaczynski’s critiques of leftists from his 1995 anti-technology manifesto Industrial Society and its Future (he was not the first far-right terrorist to do so, Anders Breivik also plagiarised Kaczynski’s manifesto in 2011).

Kaczynski is a figure contemporary eco-fascists have coalesced around."

Amazing how they have twisted the "environmentalist" Kaczynski into an extreme right winger. :palm:

As long as we ignore reality - and accept the Marxist fantasy where slavery is paradise...

And yet the "working poor" - which is a bullshit term since the majority are middle class - have more wealth and comfort in America than all but the top 1% in socialist nations.

See, what capitalism has that the tyranny you love lacks is a middle.

Socialism has the ruling elite, and the slaves. The rulers have prefered slaves who get more than other slaves, - those who are party members and work in various functions of the state. But no middle is permitted, no Bourgeoisie. The rulers and the ruled. Because Socialism is nothing but feudalism rebranded - a return to the rule of the nobility that humanity escaped, and that the elite are desperate to return to.

Capitalism is for winners and losers- and the latter far outnumber the former. Somebody has to suffer in order for others to wallow.

As stupid as it is false.

If I grow a garden and have potatoes - that does not deprive you of potatoes.

Socialism is sold to the stupid - those like you - on the idea that if people are allowed to build and grow, that somehow it deprives you.

You don't seek to make everyone successful, you seek to drag down those who do better than you.

Under capitalism - the only thing that can stop you, is you.

The ' winners ' of the Forever Chemicals catastrophe knew they were poisoning the rest of us- and they didn't give a hoot then and the fuckers haven't been punished.

And we can tell that we've been poisoned by the fact that we live longer and more healthy lives.

If we will only accept the slavery you seek - you'll ensure life is short and brutal.

People working together in a society?

Lefty's paradise ...

Huh?

I'm guessing you responded to the wrong post.

People working together in a society?

Not close, no cigar.

Socialism is the control or ownership of the means of production by the state.

So, Joe Biden nationalizing oil ala Pemex in Mexico would be socialism; social security is not socialism.

Nationalized schools under the DOE/AFT is socialism - local school districts funded by communities is not.

Now the average democrat is astoundingly ignorant and very poorly educated. Still, most do know what socialism is - and simply lie about it.

That is Communism, not Socialism. I can see why you are confused.

Wrong.

Communism is ownership by the people directly.

You're not very well versed in what you promote. You want to enslave 340 million Americans and you don't even know what the basis of socialism is.
