Hiring criminals to catch criminals.

What could go wrong?

Send in the clowns...never-mind...

That’s a lie, no where in Fox article you provided did it say they hired illegal aliens, in fact, they let go forty five personnel hired over the last six years for a number of reasons, none being that they were illegal aliens

And “earl” swallowed the lie, what a shocker

It's illegal to hire someone undocumented as a cop. The article didn't state that they did. It's possible they hired someone illegal to work as staff but it's not saying as police officers. (they did pass a law in the state that says you don't have to be a citizen to be a cop but you do have to be here legally with a green card to work)

I guess some people only read what they want to read:

Forty-five Bay Area officers hired since 2016 were flagged for not meeting hiring requirements, including missing fingerprints, proof of citizenship, graduation records, and incomplete psychological exams and background checks,

It was right there in the article.

That's an old story.

I'm not justifying incompetence but the Bay Area is much larger than San Francisco and this is saying 45 people in seven years. Additionally proof of citizenship is not a requirement to be a cop (they must be here legally and have a green card to work but don't have to be citizens).

There are plenty of issues with S.F. Articles like this are more click bait and aren't necessary to show the challenges we have here.
