*sigh* Very poor messaging from the DNC is responsible for a lot of that. If the (D)s want to continue to win elections, they'd better be appealing more to the under-40s. Run younger candidates who understand what their concerns are would be a good start. Let the old Dem workhorses retire already. It will be interesting to see if Biden runs. He really, really needs to retire and let someone younger in there. I can't quibble with most of his policies and accomplishments so far, but he gives the appearance of a very elderly and frail senior citizen. That wouldn't be as much of a factor if the Republicans had more normal candidates, but they have the blustering and noisy circus barker Trump with his fake strongman act. It also wouldn't be as much of a factor if Biden had a popular VP.

If we're being honest, Harris was a demand by the black caucus. It helped deliver S. Carolina, and deliver black votes. She's worse than Hillary as a candidate.

I was watching the clock in the Senate w/respect to Leahy. That sucker could have died at any moment, and a Republican Vt. governor probably would have seated a Republican. Same for Sanders, and Schumer. Thankfully NY has a Dem. governor. We definitely need a younger party but the overreach by Republicans has created so many wedge issues for young voters, Biden's age might not matter.

Unless, of course, trump suddenly dies and Republicans have a young candidate. Then they'll run on a platform of Harris being Potus when Biden dies in office.

But the election has returned to being about the issues after the damage the trump judicial system has created. By next year, this nation will look more like the Handmaid's Tale than America. We'll have another 10 mass shootings under out belt as well.

Republicans will have to rely on voter suppression. They work around the clock to keep college students from voting on/near campus.
