Florida parents express fear, fury as the state’s new laws affect family life

The effects are already far-reaching: The Parental Rights in Education Act — widely referred to by critics as “Don’t Say Gay” — prohibits educators in kindergarten through third grade from addressing gender or sexual orientation in class, and restricts what teachers in upper grades can say on the topic.
 
In Dystopia the worst people, the ones who live in fear and ignorance, make the rules for how the rest must behave.

This is pure insanity.

That's exactly what will happen when DeathSantis imposes hotel taxes as well as toll roads at Disney. Not sure if he can impose a tax on Disney hotels only?

But the consumer will pay higher prices for an already pricey vacation.

Tourism in Florida is about to take a hit. This will be wonderful to watch.

Kids should not be mothers, teachers have made it very clear that when kids are in school the kids belong to the teachers not the parents, and Uni students are not kids....

For the last three decades, my youngest's in-laws have vacationed in Florida for two weeks every summer. They took their kids when young and now their kids/grandkids/spouses. They're done. This year they are taking the family to Gulf Shores, Alabama. I have a hunch that they aren't the only ones who are done.

I'm sure some tiny minority of radical Leftist- Progressive types who live in Florida are all butthurt over this, but the other 98% of the population there don't give a fuck or applaud it.
