Colleges Should Be More Than Just Vocational Schools

Even the McDonalds fry cook has a more fulfilled life because of things he learned to appreciate in college. It is not just about jobs and money.

Riiiiiiight. Minimum wage and a debt he can never pay off and no prospects for a decent job. What a fulfilled life.

It does not improve any life. Life is what YOU make of it. No college takes of the place of you and your own decisions.
If you want to throw your money away on a Liberal Arts degree and wind up working at McDonalds as a fry cook with no way to pay back the huge loan you took out to do it, that's your decision. You are free to make it. You are NOT free of the consequences of that decision.

Average income of someone with just a high school diploma is $39,976. The average income of someone with just a bachelors degree is $80,478. It goes up from there. That is doubling your average income... And you could get more education, and do even better.

Ummm...Sybil? No, he can't. He's mentally incapable of attaining a VoTech certificate, much less a college degree.

Why bother using statistics for someone who knows no math.

A large number of students get Pell Grants and have no loan debt. But, they learned to appreciate other things they can enjoy after a hard day of flippin' burgers.

Anyone making the blanket statement that college doesn’t improve anyone’s life obviously never went to college. Thus, they’re speaking out of ignorance.

That’s the same person claiming that there was no election in 2020 and that guns cannot be regulated.

At least we see some consistency.

Well at least you know better than to say going to college makes you smarter.

College degrees are the door opener for many jobs. They will not talk to those without degrees. The fact is graduating from college shows some intelligence and a work ethic. You had to put in the work and follow the prof's orders.

True for many jobs, but not for all good jobs. Not everyone wants to be an accountant or a fucking lawyer. :D

Agreed, but so does completing any program of training including a four-year stint in the military.

By the time one enters college, that’s as smart as they’re going to get. They may accumulate more knowledge, but that’s a different matter.

My understanding is that most people start to peak at age 25.

Argument from randU fallacy. You are just making up numbers again.

So college is merely knowledge accumulation. You can get that at the local public library can't you?

Who said that?
That’s the same person claiming that there was no election in 2020 and that guns cannot be regulated.
There was no election in 2020 due to election fraud by Democrats. You cannot just make that evidence disappear, and you cannot just make people's judgement of that evidence disappear.
It is unconstitutional to ban or limit any weapon, including any gun. Trying to trivialize that doesn't change it.
At least we see some consistency.
Yes...you are consistent. You deny and discard the Constitution of the United States and all State constitutions. You think a Liberal Arts degree has some value. You continue to make up shit that people never said, switch context, and talk like an idiot.
