Asa Hutchinson announces presidential bid, says Trump should withdraw from race

As governor, Hutchinson blocked Syrian refugees from entering AR, resumed executions (and killed an innocent man in the process), stripped 17,000 of his residents of their Medicaid coverage, outlawed abortion, signed anti-LGBTQ legislation, managed COVID like a maniac, and spread the Big Lie.

He's just as evil as any other Republican. Fuck Asa Hutchinson.
 
The guy has zero chance.

Republican voters have shown ever since 2016 that they genuinely love and prefer sleaze, stupidity, immorality.
 
This is gonna work out perfect for Trump, just like '16. There will be a bunch of candidates that split the anti-cult vote. He'll coast to the nomination unless the legal stuff catches up w/ him.

I think that is true, and it is the most likely way for Biden to win the General.

I thought about that too. I don't want to believe that we could make the same mistake twice. I know the cult thinks they're saving the country, but nothing could be worse for the US than Trump being president again. The campaign itself is going to cause enormous damage.

That's only if Never Trumpers stick to their guns and vote. Biden does not excite many people. If we have a repeat of 2016, we're all doomed.

By all rights and by all sense of morality, Trump should be polling at single digits among GOP voters.

The fact that he is polling as the frontrunner by a country mile says actually more about Republican voters than it does about Trump.
