Pelosi said that Trump “has the right to a trial to prove innocence.”

Pelosi’s statement was posted online, “The Grand Jury has acted upon the facts and the law. No one is above the law, and everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence. Hopefully, the former President will peacefully respect the system, which grants him that right.”

If Nancy Pelosi, an extremely smart woman, actually said that, which I find hard to believe,
then she's really losing it. She isn't young, and it could happen, but as a fellow senior, the thought upsets me.

I can't believe she actually said something like that. She knows that we don't prove innocence in court.
