Hate Crime

Agreed on the problem. I think it's a problem which should be explored and include other rights affecting others such as voting, driving, serving in public office and full access to the Internet.Targeting individuals based upon points of view is a valid concern.

I don't take Life is Golden too seriously.

She wasn't legally supposed to own a gun. She had mental illness and was under counseling. Millions of people own the same type of guns that she had. Only a tiny fraction of them are mass shooters.
^^^
Doktor HCQ finally admits the mass murderer was mentally ill and shouldn't have had a gun. :hand:

Because she was diagnosed with mental illness, and they sold her the guns. That's textbook red flag issues.

The gun stores sold the guns to her, not her parents. I am confused as to why you think that the parents should be charged. Charge the fucking gun sellers.

In the days following the shooting, it was reported that she got the guns from her parents.

It seems that they didn't know about the guns.

I saw a comment about the parents furnishing the guns, but that was incorrect.

The parents knew that she had a firearm, which she sold, so they believed that she had no guns. She secretly went out and purchased more, from two different gun shops. She hid those guns. There's a big fat paper trail that only the
law enforcement authorities knew about, but not her parents.

Federal law is clear. Acts of violence on individuals based on religious affiliation is a hate crime. Garland has yet to launch a hate crime investigation for the Covenant Christian School shooting. The gay Pulse nightclub shooting was investigated as a hate crime in less than 72 hours. The massacre at the Tree of Life Jewish synagogue was investigated as a hate crime within 24 hours. The deadly shooting at a largely black buffalo supermarket was investigated as a hate crime the same day. Clearly this school was chosen because it was a Christian school and yet Garland is doing nothing to investigate it as a hate crime. I guess more of those Christians should have voted Democrat.

I guess they are just in the wrong demographic for Democrats to care about them. :dunno:

More nonsense, law enforcement isn't part of a political party

Confused here too. My understanding is that the parents thought she only had one gun and that it had previously been sold.

Regardless, Audrey clearly had mental issues, and our nation let both her and the victims down by failing to correct known problems prior to the tragedy.

I believe it would be easier to dissolve the republic
than to delete the 2nd Amendment within the confines of the current republic.

Truth be told, I'm sure of it.

Also, I'm not opposed to it.

Voices in his pointed head.

LOL While that is most probably true, the facts indicate Audrey targeted the school itself. IDK why.

Obviously the first guess is a conflict between the beliefs of the school versus her own identity as a human being.

Dead kids at a christian school isn't evidence to you but dead gays is. Interesting.

Pulse Nightclub was classified as a terrorist attack and not a hate crime. There was no evidence the killer even knew it was a gay nightclub. He did post his allegiance to ISIS and was angry about U. S. airstrikes in Syria and Iraq.
