Colorado orders Medical MJ dispensers to pay taxes

i'll try this again, slowly.

allergy meds used to be OTC.

Now, because a ingredient that relieves allergy symptoms was found to be useful in the making of an illicit drug, they are no longer OTC.

so equating the single ingredient in a OTC medicine as being necessary to now regulate the sales of allergy relief medicine is the same as meth makers using 2 liter bottles instead of empty coolers should lead to regulating the sales of refreshments in 2 liter bottles.

after all, how much allergy medicine would one need to buy to manufacture a suitable quantity of meth for large scale sales?

I still don't see your point. What does something that can be easily substituted, like a 2 liter bottle, have to do with an allergy medicine that has an essential ingredient in meth production?

I'm totally serious.

you want to claim that the use of a 2 liter bottle is a strawman when compared to an ingredient in allergy medicine. I say it's not any different. One is a key to making meth, the other is a means of making it. It's not any different than a paraphernalia law. On top of that, because these makers then leave the bottles laying around, they are a hazard to stupid people who drink from them. So how long before congress gets around to regulating 2 liter bottles?

It's official: your argument is stupid. :yay:
