Why is Ron DeSantis slipping in the polls?

Bragg isn't weaponizing shit. It's 23 members of the grand jury that will decide to prosecute trump, not Bragg. I tend to think that the only way for DeSantis will win the nomination is if Trump drops out. It's still a long way to July 2024, but it's not looking good for DeSantis at the moment.

You may be right there. I've often wondered just how the fuck he thinks he could actually win after losing before and then attempting to overthrow our govt. I think a solid majority of republicans will refuse to vote for him if he is the nominee. I think he is using his running in hopes it will protect him from prosecution. Why else does someone declare they are a candidate fully 2 fucking years before the election?

Add to that the fact that DeSantis' policies might get the Florida Nazi base all wet in the pants, but none of the actions he's ramming through play very well on the national stage.

In either case, both morons pretty much guarantee that Dems. hold the White House, and probably retake the House .

At some point he started to drink his own piss, and there seems to be no limit to his ridiculous authoritarianism.

According to this poll, there is a 67%/77% favorability rating DeSantis/trump.

So Republicans will still vote for DeSantis if trump were to suddenly drop dead.

Biden got us out of a 20 year war, passed major legislation his first 2 years, is spot on in what he is doing with the Ukraine (with most republicans agreeing) and kept our inflation rates 3-5 times less than the rest of the world. Inflation hit the entire planet because of everything shutting down 2 years from the pandemic and then demand turning on like a light switch with no supply. It is astounding that the republican is stupid enough to think when the rest of the world is suffering from inflation rates going over 10% while ours is 6% that it's the fault of Biden. Did he cause the inflation in Europe too? Biden is currently rated the 19th best president we have ever had and that's by a non partisan group that has been doing it for years, not from right wing partisan shitheads. If Bidens health holds for another couple years he is a shoe in to beat Trump or DeSantis and probably anyone else on the right as well.

Howard Dean would make a great president. I was never for him before but have listened to him a number of times since and he is about the most level headed and intelligent leader out there.

I think Liz Cheany would give DeSantis a run for his money. There are a lot of republicans that would like to see bigoted shitheads like Trump and DeSantis to dissappear. Republicans will not hold the whitehouse again until they get back to level headed conservatism and even then they may never do it with the demographics changing. The white guy who is afraid of blacks and Latinos and gays will soon be the minority and they may hang on to some states but national elections will be out of the question for them.

Liz Cheny is old school Republican...and there's only about 3 or less left in Congress. I'd vote for her over Nikki.
