Trump lawyer: If he’s indicted ‘this is an all-out war’

it's cute that you think you've got this all figured out, but you apparently do understand by admitting that NYS is doing this. I'm simply saying that other states will now go after ex presidents. Obama could be next.

Simply not going to happen… There would have to be evidence of a crime.

I understand that the left hates States being separate political entities and want to do away with that status, but until they do so, you are going to have to understand that states and federal are two different things.

Then why are you bitching about NY's investigation of Trump? Do you not understand that "states and federal are two different things?"

Never said they are not. Dumbshit! Trump committed felonies, he has mis-categorized payment was a felony.

what you can almost guarantee with this is that every state will begin their own investigation in to presidents of opposing parties and find some crime that they can be charged with........

What Red State has jurisdiction over Obama?

We do? I did not know that. New York is a state and they have the goods on Trump. I agree that they should do the right thing and indict. Georgia is a state and Trump's crimes are on tape. That is tough to beat.

They are free to do so. They are also restricted by the same US Constitution that restricts NY. Evidence of a crime is required for an indictment.

And, it must be in that state. If every state begins an investigation of presidents of opposing parties, that makes those former presidents very busy little criminals to have allegedly committed crimes in so many different states.

if the feds declined to indict trump, why would NY be able to do it? that being said, what I said was any state could go after Obama, if that state investigates and comes up with a crime that he committed..........

Criminal statutes are totally different on a state and federal level. You should know that!

It's more accurate to say that leftist like and hate things based on political expediency. Leftists love blacks until they no longer want to stay on your plantation, "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black"

"if the feds declined to indict trump, why would NY be able to do it?"

Because he broke NY state tax laws. He lied about the values of his real estate too. Trump had a lifetime of corruption and he appears to have to face the truth, at last.

The feds did not decline to indict Trump, but it happens all the time that a state prosecutes when the fed choses not to do so.

A state wanting to prosecute Obama would have to have some jurisdiction. What Red State has jurisdiction over anything Obama does?

so your point is that NY is going after trump with a state statute? right?

why wouldn't any other state be able to indict an ex president if found to have broken one of their state laws?

If someone broke a state law, they should be held responsible regardless of who they are.

you aren't really a lawyer, are you?

if obama is found to have broken a Texas law, would they not have that jurisdiction?

To break a Texas law you would be required to have some contact with Texas with a connection to the breaking of that law.
