Without seeing the charges or evidence, how can Republicans not look like fools saying automatically that this is political.

Are they claiming that a former president is automatically above the law?

They have no idea what the evidence shows yet. Hippocrates!

In many countries the GOP would be considered a criminal organization and outlawed.

Trump will not be convicted and will become a martyr.

I trust Professor Turley and his expertise.

George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley called the
Manhattan District Attorney’s potential case against former President
Donald J. Trump “legally pathetic” after the 45th president announced he
expects to be arrested next week.

If they cared about even an inch of creditability they would have waited until after they saw the charges.. or even better, the evidence.

How can he become a martyr if not convicted? Aren't martyrs usually dead? That might be a great solution to the problem of the corrupt loser who would be king. lol

The bolded is quite an admission.

Generally, only cults have martyrs.

Link?

Christianity is not a cult and there are many martyrs in religions.

Britannica Dictionary definition of CULT. [count] 1. : a small religious group that is not part of a larger and more accepted religion and that has beliefs regarded by many people as extreme or dangerous.

As of this morning, even trumps own lawyers do not know any of the details of this indictment. Yet Turley acts like he has a clue?

...This is a flawed case if it is based on a state charge effectively prosecuting the federal election violation. That federal case was rejected by the Justice Department. There are also statute of limitation questions that could come into play.Jonathan Turley

I only said, shitstain, that even trumps lawyers do not know the details and extent of a possible indictment. Therefore Mr. Turley knows about as much as you do- shit.

Tell that to Cohen who got 3 years for the same charges. Trump's are worse because he was in charge and the one who benefitted from the payoffs. You believe Turlley because you want him to be right.

All they need is one lawyer willing to look like an idiot. I remember people on here being like "Sydney Powell wouldn't just throw her career away for no reason" LMAO.
