First of all, Pelosi was giving up the position no matter what. But if you want your side to take credit for her going...have at it. Funny is funny...no matter how it comes at us.
Secondly, THERE WAS NO TSUNAMI. There was barely a win...and the disgrace the GOP has brought upon itself in the aftermath is one that is going to linger. McCarthy is an embarrassment to government...a chowderhead compared with Pelosi.
Thirdly, most intelligent commentators acknowledge that the thin win in the House and loss in the Senate, was a massive loss considering how most mid-term elections go...especially with Joe Biden having such low approval ratings at the time of the election.
