Alan Lightman, the Physicist Who Craves Books on Philosophy

About how conflict (war) affects individuals. Not so much physically or economically, but rather mentally and psychologically. You'd really be surprised how little is written on this that's really worthwhile.

This is one of the best studies I've ever found

Variation in Psychological Tolerance to Ground Combat in World War II Gilbert Wheeler Beebe, John Wilberforce Appel

You should post the article. NYT won't let us see it.

Around 50 years ago an Alan Lightman ( probably the same one) wrote a wonderful book called "Problem Book in Relativity and Gravitation". Around 500 problems with worked out solutions in the back. I have the book - it's not easy.

Surprising to see a problem-oriented person like him caring about a woolybrained subject like philosophy.

You are a very stupid racist asshole.

Lightman has written about philosophy. You are a fucking moron.

Real physicists don't write about philosophy until they get old and can't do real physics.

PS - You don't get to call me a moron. You are a convicted tranny which means you are so dumb you don't even know if you're male or female.
