Thats what happened when trump chose to lie about the dangers of Covid from day 1.
Those were just some of his many other lies, which voters rejected soundly.
It wasn't Covid that brought trump down, it was his constant and never ending lies.

Biden was criticized for 'hiding in his basement', and Katie Hobbs was criticized for refusing to debate a MAGA moron.

Presidents are supposed to be able to deal with national emergencies.

Trump shouldn't have spent months lying about COVID.

Lots of politicians got reelected during the pandemic, because they were percieved as being honest and actively attempting to help people.

Ditto in 2016; he won by even less. But you don't hear Hillary crying about it years later, nor did she instigate an attack on the Capitol.

You lied PMP.

Not only would Trump winning Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin not get him 306 Electoral College votes, it wouldn't have even been enough to win him the election.

Winning those three states would have only given Trump 269 electoral college votes. You need 270 to win.
