The transaction should not have been approved! That's the point.

The bank should not be allowed to let you make a mistake they could prevent by the terms of the account. They are illegally allowing you to break the terms of your agrrement and then punishing you for it. Quite a sweet scam. Treat every account as if it has overdraft protection and them punish the ones that don't. The solution is to reject transactions when there are insuffient funds, not make a loan they know is in default

History has yet to judge Obama after just 10 months into his Presidency, bush is history and yet you cannot list his accomplishments while in office and obviously, for good reason, you prefer not to discuss his legacy.
You must be joking to raise Obama's popularity in other countries when compared to bush.

Tinfoil, I monitor my bank accounts on a regular basis by phone or the internet. It appears by the comments on this thread, I am the only one who does this.

One big accomplishment of Bush is that we didn't have another terror attack when he was in office.

It has nothing to do with Obama's popularity, it has everything to do with he's a weak president and it shows. He's clueless.

I always check mine before leaving the house to ensure sufficient funds for a dinner and a room but, alas, it's all in vain. :(
