Just citing a few names of what conservatism USED to represent. These were all pretty smart guys, who had a clear conservative vision for America. The left still couldn't stand them - but it was ideological disagreement that drove that. A competing vision for the future.

What happened? Seriously....what the fuck happened? Watching some of the CPAC stuff, with Bannon, and Lake, and then Trump to top it off - just an utter clown show, disengaged from any sense of reality. Conspiracies, lies and grifting.

The Republicans first lost their soul, then they lost their way, then they lost their minds, and the final result of all of that has led them to losing major elections.

So, if they are ever to come back, they need to reverse everything in that same order to be able to reverse the losing of major elections again!

Can they do it?

I'd say some of our fellow JPP Trumptards are lost forever now, and there is no hope for them.

CPAC isn't mainstream Republicanism. It's more fringe.

I could do the same with liberals/Democrats, towering figures like Daniel Patrick Moynaham to today and Nicole Hannah Jones.

The fringe does exist.

Trump is a frontrunner for the '24 nomination, and Lake is a very possible VP candidate.

The crazies have taken over the GOP.

Front runner today means nothing. Many many former front runners this far out have not won the nomination in the past. Trump is currently ahead because of name recognition.
 
Scalia is the scumbag who intervened in the election and declared Bush was the winner. Don't count the Florida votes he said, might make Bush look like he lost.
 
Interesting that conservatives have to pretend Trump does not represent the Republican Party.

There is an excellent chance he'll be the nominee. The more "normal" candidates will split the anti-Trump vote.

No. They're running to audition for VP essentially. They aren't going to stay in if they have no chance and let Trump win.

And I'm just saying, liberals have their own fringe problem. Us partisans love to talk about the other parties issues but rarely our own.

The Conservatives completely failed to stop the rise of the WOKE anti-human insanity.....the destruction of America and in fact all of the West.
