Original Marriage Definition

Why do you all keep trying to argue this point with him. He is never going to get it. He will never admit that classifying marriage as between only Jews is the same as classifying it as only between christians as classifying it between only people of the same race as to classifying it as between only heterosexuals. He is bigoted against homosexuals so logic does not enter the argument. From now on when he posts this shit you should follow it up with one word. STUPID. It's not ad hom to call someone stupid when they are. It IS ad hom to call them stupid right after they make their argument the first time, but when they refuse to allow knowledge and logic and rational thought to enter into the debate, then STUPID is what they are. Not ignorant, he has been hit with way to much knowledge to even inhabit the lofty heights of the ignorant. He is a cellar dweller and ANY attempt to change his mind is crazy. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. It is time to give up and reply to these particular arguments of his with the word STUPID and move on.

The first references to "marriage" come from the Torah. And it is defined as between one JEWISH man and one JEWISH woman.

But if we pressure hard enough, I am sure we can get civil unions recognized for christians too.

Dude, you were the one who brought them up.

I could say that Mickey and Minnie Mouse weren't married, but that doesn't mean I am saying that they existed.
