This is pretty irrelevant....Desantis not coming likely explains his poor showing, which has almost nothing to do with the mood of the country on his political viability.

DeSantis and several other Republicans went to an invitation only event sponsored by Club for Growth. All the loonies attended the Matt the Groper’s event.
 
Tell ya what - if it really is Trump/Lake in '24, and they actually win? That will probably be it for me. People always say they'll leave America about elections - but that would be the one for me. I will find myself a new country.

That is a vile ticket. Absolutely repugnant. It will mean America has lost not only its compass, but its soul.

I want to believe this. More than anything, really.

But I will never count Trump out. He is a master when it comes to manipulating the masses. Even Republicans turn on their own to appease him - the heckling Haley got at CPAC was so disturbing. It's such a cult w/ Trump.
