Let’s take a look at our economic growth:

Let’s take a look at our economic growth:

12 million new jobs.

Unemployment at a 53-year low.

Inflation falling for 7 straight months.

MAGA wets panties

If you added up the number of jobs created during the 16 years that the last three Republican presidents were in power collectively, it only comes up to around one million jobs over 16 years.

Really? That speaks volumes about the Republiclowns shitty job creation record.
I wonder what their response would be to that.

From a political perspective then it begs the question, if our economic performance is so stout/stellar, why such low poll numbers and why do so many Democrats want Biden to not run for re-election?

Poll numbers probably have more to do with perception than reality. When you have a goodly portion of the electorate being fed negativity constantly by the likes of Fox, it's hard to see how those viewers/readers could find much positive to say about Biden. The same is true when #TRE45ON was #IMPOTUSx2.

IMO Biden is doing a fine job but he IS elderly. I would much prefer that the (D)s start focusing on much younger candidates. It's not like we don't have some good men and women to choose from, who are not in their 70s and 80s. If we want to appeal to younger voters, we need to find younger candidates.

Taxes are not enforced charity.

The wealthy would get full benefit for paying their full share if they ever would.
They require more protection and assistance from the people's government than the rest of us do,
and they easily get the most economic benefit from a healthy and vibrant society.

Corporate oligarchs hurt themselves as well as everybody else with their chronic short-sightedness.

Sure, there’s a portion of the country that will say they dislike the President regardless of job performance based strictly on political party but that doesn’t come close to explaining his total numbers. To get the poll numbers he has includes moderates and people who voted for him saying they don’t approve.

For example, the statistics can show inflation has dropped seven months in a row but if prices are still really high those who feel poorer as a result might not be in a celebratory mood.

Inflation for Febuary is over 4 times what it was when Trump left office. Biden supporters wet their Depends.

We're a little over 2 years into the Biden Presidency. It doesn't take an economic whiz to understand the that groundwork for lasting inflation can take years. Inflation started to go up under Trump - his incompetence, combined with COVID, created the spike that we have seen the past 2 years.

But it's leveling off now, and the jobs success is undeniable. Once again, a Republican wrecked the economy, and a Democrat is bringing it back.

Biden is NOT a good marketing guy. If Trump was President, this would be the best economy EVAH, and Afghanistan would have been the greatest military withdrawal EVAH.

Biden doesn't do that, and he's not good at that. He's not a great President by any means, but he arguably inherited more crisis situations than any President in modern history, and he has done a capable job. That doesn't mean people aren't still hurting - a lot of people used their savings during COVID, or lost good jobs.

Lie Inflation came down from 2.13 in 2017 then up to 2.43% in 2018 then down to 1.43% when Trump left office. So you agree the Bidenflation may last for years and years.. You should change your Depends.

Well said, Ms. Owl. I'd like to see California governor Newsom run for POTUS. Biden is too old.
I would also like to see all politicians over 65 to take a mental competency test. Not to exclude them but to make the results available to the voters so they can make better decisions. I would also make the age limit 75 for the three branches of government.

I don’t think it has anything to do with marketing. When you sit at home and assess your family finances would anything change if someone was whispering in your ear ‘everything’s great’ when it’s really not or ‘everything is bad’ when it’s really good?

If marketing wasn't effective, no one would do it.

I thought Trump was a genius that way. It didn't matter if something failed - he'd declare it a success, or exaggerate its effectiveness, and shout it from the mountain tops, again & again & again. And that works. That has always worked. It definitely affects the psychology of a population.

Exactly even Democrats don't want for the most popular ever elected pResident to run again. That is because they know he is doing a crap job.

No one said he was the most popular ever. But most Dems don't want him to run because he's old, and looks too frail these days. He shouldn't be President until he's 86. It's time for some new energy.

Trump was the worst jobs President in modern times, Biden has added over 12 million jobs.

Is that a fantasy?

Sorry that Republicans are so bad w/ the economy. It has to be tough to ignore the decades of history that prove that.
The economy lost 22 million jobs because of COVID and we have got back 12 million jobs now that Trump left with vaccines and we have a weaker variant. And that is a good thing.

The nation lost nearly 22 million jobs at the outset of the pandemic. The recovery has been far swifter than those after previous recessions,
