Insane Pedo Joe Biden says $400,000 per year income is NOT RICH

Joe Biden - "Time to put Trump in the bullseye."
Shows how out of touch this proven child molester is. If he wants to raise taxes on only rich people, the line should be drawn at say $80,000

march 1 2023 President Joe Biden revealed Tuesday that he will pitch raising taxes when he releases a proposed budget on March 9, but insists he will stick to his campaign promise not to hike taxes on Americans making less than $400,000 a year.

Biden made the remarks during his trip Tuesday to Virginia Beach, Virginia, in a speech that was mainly dedicated to defending the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid against Republican cuts.

'I want to make it clear, I'm gonna raise some taxes,' Biden said in the speech. 'Many of you are billionaires out there. You're going to stop paying at 3 percent.'

He said, however, that 'no one over 400 - making less than $400,000 - is going to pay a penny more in taxes.'

Biden has agreed to cut the deficit by $2 trillion over a 10-year period so that Congressional Republicans will vote to lift the debt limit.

I support soaking the super-rich since most of them are useless people. Entertainers, athletes, politicians, lawyers, bankers etc. Just hi-paid welfare trash with jobs of no social value.

This part of Biden's agenda I do not have a problem with. And $400K is a good enough cut off to me.

Wow. Man is rich regardless... but $400K per year is rich. Not Fauci rich, but definitely rich.

The evidence shows that he just mouths those words. His "new IRS" is setting rules to make sure that if you transfer money to a family member using Zelle you get a 1099 and have to pay taxes and going after my daughter's tips. (I tip in cash so they don't have a record, but they want that money anyway). This idea that folks that make less will not pay more is simply a lie, if he repeats it often enough Jarod might believe him but the priorities of the IRS tell me that he's just giving it lip service and once again (like with Obama) I will be paying more even though I make less than their "top"...

According to the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the annual mean wage for a full-time wage or salary worker in the United States is $53,490 per year or $1,028 per week (for a 40-hour work week).

I agree that these are the people that need the most help.

Most of the families that make up to 400K annual are non-incorporated and non-LLC small business owners that hire a lot of workers across America.

On a global scale $400K would qualify as rich. If we're talking only U.S. and we're talking high cost of living areas then someone making $400K is not missing any meals and living nicely, but that's not rich.

Obama gave his bankster controllers trillions of dollars of mouse click money. Why do we pay taxes when the govt can just print money all they want for their pals.?

The minimum salary for a rookie major league baseball player is over seven hundred thousand dollars per year,

Four hundred thousand dollars for the President of the United States is nothing short of ridiculous.

Virtually any homeowner on this forum, at least from a blue state, could write a check for four hundred thousand dollars right now,
but TDAK thinks that amount of money makes one rich.

If you're a broke ass dick, TDAK, you should be working harder to improve yourself instead of spewing bullshit on the internet all day.

Owning a home for a long time and having $400K in equity built up isn't the same thing as earning $400K/yr.

And it's an interesting brag to speak about how expensive it is to live in certain areas. On one hand there has to be demand for things to be expensive but, and especially post George Floyd, the limits on supply that allow for such high costs is far from creating equity.

True, of course. Again, a rookie baseball player gets minimum of $700K/yr and is considered working class, not rich.

Maybe the ones who get 40M a year are rich, but most of them even blow that, which indicates that they were never an actual part of the wealthy class.

Most of us who aren't rich tend to completely underestimate what it take to be so.

As for paying POTUS 400K, that's a remnant of the old-fashioned amateur politician philosophy of the founders--which no longer makes sense.

The job is hard, requires a professional, and the top one better be worth more than four hundred grand a year.

The article has nothing to do with Presidential salaries. It’s about at what earnings level defines ‘rich’ in terms of who taxes should be raised on.

See anything wrong here Geeko?

That's of course true.

The dollar level of the tax cutoff reminded me of the presidential salary.
The same people who think that four hundred grand level is too high of a cutoff also seem to think that the president remuneration is appropriate.
That's been my experience.
We who aren't rich tend to have inadequate comprehension as to what constitutes being rich.

Yes, I see you use politically biased BULLSHIT like Heritage.org to try and lie to us about the average poor people!

And while you believe this EXTREME BULLSHIT, please give us just one example of a family that is making 65K a year in welfare!

JUST ONE!

The trope we often hear is the rich don’t pay their fair share of taxes. But if we want to go elitist why should someone who went to school and worked hard have to pay more to give it to someone who didn’t go to college? So why should those who did right be punished? (Unless your argument is we have to give it to the lower class trash to keep them from rioting and ruining our good life.)
