Did anyone see the 4 Karens screaming outside the SCOTUS to have their LOANS paid?

They said on TV last night that the average credit hour is 1650 bucks. When I started it was 16 bucks. You could have a part-time job and keep up with school costs. 16 bucks has never bn comparable to 1650. It is not inflation. It is gouging.

Can you give me a single example of this average 1650 per credit hour? I think we all agree the cost of higher education is getting out of control... but throwing money at 26 million people with useless or unfinished degrees is not the answer

I think credit hours were $73 when I was in school. Pretty sure about that.

A "full load" (12) was just under $1k + transpo, housing, books, and food.

That was just before they started the student loan nonsense. They actually did that while I was in school.

That crap didn't explode until at least 1994 or so.

Could be Clinton had something to do with it. I did not follow politics much at that time.
