There is a solution to almost everything. Your comment about the viability of solar is akin to someone looking at a computer take up 2 large rooms in the '60s, and say "they'll never have a personal use."

Solar & wind are still in their infancy, in terms of technology & investment.

NEC 3384 Nuclear power electrician's mate. Class 8003 nuclear power school, qualified on S5G at prototype then on A1W aboard USS Enterprise. In college I took all the offered nuclear engineering courses even though I was doing industrial engineering because I already knew the stuff.

So, I probably know quite a bit more about nuclear plants than you do.

The solution can be infeasible due to engineering, manufacturing, and cost limits, and all three are problems doing solar in space.

Spent fuel rods. They take up little space and aren't particularly hazardous if kept in a cask with deaerated water with a little bit of boron added. Wind turbine blades are not recyclable as they are generally fiberglass.

Did you not notice that the EV market has a demand problem right at the start of the intended ramp up?

The people dont want them, the Regime is going to be forced to mandate them, to gradually make gas cars illegal and get them off of the road.
 
The current tech will not work because we cant mine that much and because this is a disposal nightmare which will never end.
