Yup. Disney knows it clientele and what they want. People who think a profit driven corporation goes 'woke' out of a sense of duty or any thing other than chasing the evolving younger client base are just stupid. We tend to call them GOP voters.


What Ron DeSantis is doing is pure fascism. He is telling Disney, like he was telling Cruise lines and others during covid and Social Media companies, that we, BIG GOVERNMENT, will tell you how to operate your businesses and what you can and cannot do to pander to your clientele to make more money off them. If we, BIG GOV'T, do not like it and it does not fit with our agenda, we will look to use laws to literally end your First Amendment rights, and to fascism to end your business independence, and you will submit to gov't rule over how your business will deal with its clients.


It is amazing to see today's GOP derps celebrate DeSantis (and Trump prior) in their pure fascism pushes.

It would be epic if Disney moved out.

They should do like Amazon did when they were looking for locations for a second head office and put out the idea they might move, and allow States to bid with huge tax incentive packages to get them to move, by making it profitable for them to move.

Imagine Disney moving to Nashville surrounding area, which already is a huge tourist draw (Elvis, Dolly, general Music) and making that State the Las Vegas for that type of Touristing that is not gambling and night life centered and is more family centered. I think it would pump new life in to Disney visits and the Nashville area and State would be thrilled to give them a tax incentive package that would more than cover the cost of the move.

What other low/no tax red state would have them under their terms? If they just would have kept their woke California pie holes shut about that “don’t say gay” BS, they probably could have kept doing the same thing for decades. Fuck ‘em.
