Fox News tells the truth? Say it ain't so.

That a bearing overheated, what does it tell you?

By the way, there's so much bullshit spoken about viny chloride. Not least the fact that it's a gas, not a liquid, at atmospheric pressure and has a relatively low solubility in water.

It tells me that it was a failure that should have been avoided.

What does it have to do with what Fox News said?

Okay. I do not know much in that subject. I am just trying to understand what it has to do with what Fox News said.

An overheated seized bearing is a pretty effective way of stopping a train and derailing it. How many people do you think even know that vinyl chloride is a gas? I still fail to understand why the EPA recommended burning it off to produce phosgene, what happened to our toxicologist Port Tacky?

I do not know.

What I know that they had ample warning.

I would take you more seriously if you weren't so self unaware.

Look, I know I have only made 17,551 contributions here to this forum. And I have received only 7,396 thanks for those contributions.

But, that means that somebody out there thanks me for every 2.3 comments I make here!

That is an amazing statistic for JPP! One that makes me very proud to continue contributing here!

It indicates that I am a popular contributor and people mostly thank me for my comments overall!

But thanks!

You are pretty smalltime....I have been here the same amount of time and I have almost 53K sometimes high quality posts.

"Deregulation" always sounds super cool, until an entire American town is destroyed.

Good on Fox. Maybe they woke up w/ all of the text revelations recently.

Fox's Steve Doocey did not get it right. Obama stopped the regulations.

Which caused the disaster to spread beyond the actual wreck site.

Yet EPA and FEMA are using weasel words to avoid helping ... claiming the damage is limited to just the area of wreckage, when we know the burn caused it to spread way beyond it.
