feb 23 2023 Charles Barkley has never been shy about giving his opinion, whether it comes to basketball, golf, or anything else. This time, Barkley had some strong words about the WNBA.

In an interview with People, Barkley says it's time for WNBA players to reap the same endorsement benefits as their NBA counterparts.

The former NBA great says he "hopes some of these American companies will get off their a-- and get these girls endorsements so they don't have to go overseas and play in the off-season."

Barkley brought up Brittney Griner, mentioning that her detainment in Russia likely would have not happened had she been able to earn more money through endorsements here in America.
