Nikki Haley calls Biden too old. But you can't call her too old?

Trump has repeatedly claimed credit for DeSantis' political success, called him an "average" governor, and said he is "disloyal" even to consider running against him.

Trumps constant jabs at DeSantis will certainly turn his loyal followers away from considering him. I think Desantis knows that and will put off running until after the 2024 election.

I like Trump's policies but I think DeSantis would do just as well on policy and would be less polarizing.

About 30% of the GOP base feels trump is being framed every time he commits a crime. Some of them participate in this forum. The rest don't really care - they just hate Democrats. The wealthy GOP'ers hate Dems because they raise taxes - the rest are into the culture war stuff and buy into the Dems trying to make them feel guilty most of them are the white Christian right and feel the dems are satan.

That's a timely reminder to express and reinforce kindness. I don't give her a free pass for her own bad behavior, but I do appreciate the nudge to be patient and nice. Thank you.
 
Haley faces the same obstacle as every other GOP presidential candidate whose name is not Trump. You must appeal to ignorant, hateful, angry white men in order to get the nomination. And you do that by taking positions that are repugnant to the vast majority of voters. The GOP needs to make a decision to not only abandon Trump, but to call him out, demand he is indicted, and throw him in the trash. But they are all too cowardly. Include Haley. So I don't have an ounce of respect for any of them.
