Remember how many supermarkets and gas companies we used to have? They just keep buying out until the owners decide everything.
The corps and wealthy hate regulation because it threatens their power and costs them money. They set on a program long ago to paint regulation as bad. Yeah, there are some bad regulations that should be addressed. But regulation is the only power we have in the face of the powerful.
