We know why the slaves were brought here too. Because there was a demand for labor and people capitolizing on that demand. No, it isn't. Much of the "history" taught in public schools today is a politically correct version of things. The Leftist version deliberately paints over the truth of history in favor of a narrative that furthers their political dogma. That goes not just for slavery, but for native Americans, Whites, minorities, women, and everything else.

That African Blacks made war on their brothers, enslaved them, then sold them off as stock to Arabs and Europeans who then took them off to other locations and resold them off for profit. In our case the Slave traders brought them here to America. The FACT remains though that the slavery began in Africa with blacks attacking other blacks and then making slaves of them in Africa and selling them off to European Slave traders for profit.

Never said Africans invented slavery,.....LIAR. I said Blacks enslaved other blacks and sold them to White people. The butthurt is strong in you.....
