Putin is making a mortal enemy of a neighboring nation It seems people do not like their cities blown up and their families killed. The world does not particularly embrace Russians. This will make it all much worse.

Suddenly there's no more MSM coverage of all those Russian draft worthy citizens who were high tailing it out of Russia at the beginning of this mess. You have to wonder what is going to become of them if they choose to return in the future? Or if they'll all start mysteriously dying abroad?

I actually agree with you. This really isn't America's fight and spending--now--hundreds of billions on what amounts to a local Cold War squabble isn't worth the gold being spent on it.

America demanded that this be America's fight, and we demanded war and when it looked like Ukraine and Russia would do a deal to stop the war we made sure that it did not happen.
