But it's okay with you if a 15 or 16 year old makes the decision to have an abortion without her parents
When you can't argue the point, punt to abortion.

Surgery or suicide? What would your choice have been if this was your child?
Sorry to burst your bubble but I don't approve of what happened to the girl. However, I blame the parents first and the doctors second. Political party doesn't, shouldn't, even be a consideration. Because you think it is, you're still the idiot.
Mental health care, less TikTok, home school, private school.
I'm against giving a child any elective surgery..and not even sure about 18 year olds but at least that's the legal age of consent.
I'm also surprised any doctor who took the Hippocratic Oath would consent to do this surgery.
OTOH, there are "doctors" on JPP who recommend HCQ, Ivermectin and bleach over COVID vaccine, so unethical doctors do exist.
Agree. I was thinking that if there was a real fear the girl would kill herself, the parents could commit her to an institution for her own well-being. Not permanent commital, but until she wasn't deemed to be a danger to herself.
Do you recall several years ago when a mother okayed elective plastic surgery on her little daughter who has Down syndrome? I"m still searching for the specific article but apparently facial reconstructive surgery on these kids is a thing in some circles.

Threaten to commit suicide if you don't get your way and see what I do.
