Second ballon spotted

It has happened before, dumbass.

Agreed. The balloon is a new wrinkle. While I doubt it has anything new in tech, it'd be worth taking a look at.

Those who remember the Glomar Explorer know that the best intelligence successes are unknown to the public.

Both the Navy and USAF have computer software that predicts the driftdown of parachutes in order to locate downed aircrews. Putting a hole in the balloon and letting it settle in the ocean would be easy. Recovering it could be done with a cover story of "it was destroyed".

Shooting it over the US shoreline and letting it drift over the ocean would be both legal and safe.

Recognize this?

Do you think the Republicans wanted this to happen?

The image I posted wasn't from Weird Science, LOL. Though it's around the same period with a bunch of intelligent but bratty kids creating experiments that are up to no good.

Agreed. It was Real Genius. The picture I posted was Weird Science which came out the same year. I saw both in the theater.

The Chinese government is preparing for W III while we argue over transgenders in locker rooms.

....and you're posting threads about African-American criminals.

As for China, they're not as stupid as fucked up Neo-Nazis. They know WWIII is a Lose-Lose. No one wins a nuclear war.

Unlike Americans, Chinese and Iranians think in terms of long term goals over years. Americans think in terms of the Fiscal Year and that's about as far as they plan.

Neo-Nazis and other fuckwits think in terms of paycheck-to-paycheck.

Biden just lets the one over America gather what ever info it is getting

That is a threat to national security

The balloon was the size of several school buses and weighed several tons. Imagine what you would be saying if debris had injured Americans after Biden ordered the balloon to be shot down over land. He waited for it to get just off the coast and then had it shot down over the ocean where it will be collected momentarily. For once in your pointless life, stop reflexively bitching about anything and everything ever done by any liberal in history.

There's a reason other than the one given for why we're not shooting it out of the sky. My guess, is that there's some kind of "booby trap" if we do. The just don't want to panic the public.

They weren't going to shoot down a massive machine over American heads. They waited for it to get safely offshore and then immediately brought it down.

NOT TO WORRY. We have a Chomo in Chief and a Chief Joints of Staff who promised to undermine the US military for the benefit of the Chinese. We are in good hands.

Adios Taiwan. I feel for you and your people.

A Chief Joints of Staff?

Well, the latest is that there are now photos of a missile launch coming out by ground observers in Montana. Such a launch could be as much as 500+ miles away given the altitudes involved. So...

So . . . what? Where are these pictures?

He'd blame Biden for being careless with American lives.

That'd be a stupid move. Something more surgical would allow us to recover the sensor package intact instead of creating a debris field over America.
