65 years ago, scientist tells Baltimore Sun CO2 will raise sea levels 40 feet

No, it is quite partisan. The Elite don't want any new oil production, period. That's foolhardy, especially now that Russian oil will be cut out of the West for the foreseeable future. I certainly do. But not at the expense of weakening the country. Sure, eventually it will be great if we can get the technology to have 100% renewable energy. But setting unrealistic timelines having no idea how to implement them is just plain dumb.

This has been explained to him and his ilk many times but they just don't get it!

Why do people get so angry about this topic?

It's just people caring about the planet - which happens to be the only planet we have. You may disagree w/ their assessments, but that's all it is. It's a non-partisan issue. I would hope that everyone would support the idea of sustainability, and protecting the environment for future generations.

Are you really that bloody naive?

Lots of "science guys" have said shit that's wrong about climate and they haven't said much that's correct. That's been going on for decades now. Hell, a decent psychic or tarot reader could make better predictions...

Quoting You- they haven't said much that's correct.

Can you give us an example of what you are talking about? Other than Joseph Kaplan?

No, but I do know they've been wrong far more than correct on virtually everything related to Gorebal Warming.

Look, I don't usually get into the farting contests around here.

I am not smart enough to know if man is causing global warming or not, but, I am smart enough to know that the world is warming.

But, are you here today saying that you do not believe that the planet is warming?

I may be crazier than a hoot owl, but I believe that where Joseph Kaplan may have overlooked, is how the water is evaporating more due to the hotter temperatures, and I believe that it just hovers around in the form of more and more clouds in the atmosphere. And I also believe that my "Evaporation Theory" goes along with the "Planet is warming and causing more extreme weather events around the world now more than ever before" Theory.

I just think that Kaplan did not compensate for that when he theorized the situation 70 years ago. Perhaps he didn't think past the "Ice Caps are melting and the seas are going to rise" Theory!

I mean, the polar caps are getting smaller, as we can easily see from space, and the water has to go somewhere. I say it is forming into more clouds and causing more extreme weather events.

I don't believe that the polar caps are melting into the sea and raising sea levels, I believe that the sun, at the molecular level, is evaporating the polar ice caps into the atmosphere!

It is only my theory, but that is what I believe based on my best guess Theory and without any proof.

Aren't you that asshole that trolls forums writing gibberish? Fuck off.

I kinda remember when you first got here thinking you might be a serious poster. I actually tried to have a reasonably adult discussion with you. That lasted about two posts.
