Regardless, Republicans including Donald Trump Jr. and sitting members of Congress continued to promote the idea of a "regular person" shooting at the balloon on Friday.

"If Joe Biden and his administration are too weak to do the obvious and shoot down an enemy surveillance balloon perhaps we just let the good people of Montana do their thing," Trump Jr. tweeted. "I imagine they have the capability and the resolve to do it all themselves." :laugh:

They are so stupid, they don't even realize they can't shoot anything over 10,000 feet. The Balloon is up over 60,000 feet.

So we are talking about retards here.

The Military will have to probably deflate the balloon by shooting into it for it to come down safely and not destroy any evidence!

F-15's can fly around at 65,000 feet!

Even if the military shoots into it, it could take a day or two for it to deflate enough to come down, and it will be far out to sea by then.

And even if we do retrieve the balloon, chances are the Chinese have already got the photos they wanted and wiped the hard drives clean!

So, this is a mess!

My question- How did this thing get all the way across the Aleutian Islands and all the way through Canada airspace before we even knew it was there?

I think our military has some splaining to do!

I mean, I'm not one to start conspiracy theories, but you can bet Kim Jong Hungchow is taking notes here.

Taking notes and laughing. Our present leadership is an embarrassment. That thing should have been detected before it entered American airspace and shot down the moment it did.
