“Three weeks and 39 mass shootings. This is America in 2023”

What does the actuary chart say, LV

What does the actuary chart say, LV? See? This is why I think you are "off" even though very passionate. You can't read numbers...or are unable to accept them

This isn't about "reading numbers", this is about understanding the Law of Total Probability.

The odds on the chart only apply in those scenarios, hence the odds of you dying by car accident are ZERO if you aren't in a car.

With guns, though, there is never ZERO probability that you could die...no matter where you are, what you are doing, who you are with, whether you have a gun or not, there will always be odds that you could be shot and killed so long as there are guns around.

Your patronizing attitude belies your insecurity because I'm pretty sure you understand what I'm saying, you're just acting this way because you don't want to concede a point.

And last year nearly 650 people died in mass shootings There were 570 homicides in Chicago alone.

So more people died by mass shootings last year than died from homicides in Chicago.

So why are you screaming about Chicago? Shouldn't you be screaming about mass shootings since more people died from those than died of homicide in Chicago?

Also does that homicide figure include non-firearm homicides? Did you do that research?

And last year nearly 650 people died in mass shootings There were 570 homicides in Chicago alone. Never a word about that

Is 650 > or < 570?

I know that might be complicated math for you, but I believe in you and your ability to know which is the larger number.

Less than 100 and in one city and the miserable leftist bastards never say a word.

Less than 100 and in one city and the miserable leftist bastards never say a word.

Less than 100 what? What are you talking about? Why do you struggle so much with being articulate?

So less than 100 people died from non-firearm homicide in Chicago last year?

So there were even fewer than 500 gun deaths in Chicago, is what you're saying.

How come you don't know the exact number?

So in your attempt to whatabout cHiCaGO, you inadvertently pointed out the fact that more people die from mass shootings than ALL HOMICIDES IN CHICAGO COMBINED.

So you moo about Chicago, but then you kick your own argument in the nuts by showing how LOW the homicide rate is there, and it's even LOWER when it's gun homicides.

Less than 100 and in one city and the miserable leftist bastards never say a word.

I really can't get over how fucking stupid you are here by making this argument.

You're screaming about Chicago, but in doing so you're showing that it's actually not that dangerous at all.

Less than 100 non-firearm homicides in a city of 2.7M people would seem to indicate that it's not a dangerous place, and that you're hyping it up as one because when we actually drill down into the numbers, we find that the rural areas surrounding Chicago have higher crime and homicide rates than Chicago itself.

Your mom's car hasn't been stolen and used to murder school kids YET

By your logic, her driver's license should be taken away and cars banned.

With guns, we can make it safe. Take them away. That ends mass shootings and most murders.

We can save up to 30,000 lives a year by banning private ownership of automobiles. "Leave it to the professionals".

We can save up to 45,000 lives a year with better mental health care....but no one gives a shit. Democrats list banning guns as their priority and Republicans never cared about anyone but themselves.

Drugs are certainly a bane on society, but the drug war is not only unconstitutional, it's a total failure.
Regulating which drugs are illegal only creates funding for organized crime. Remember how banning alcohol failed? It just created organized crime problems and the amendment authorizing the ban (that's what it takes to institute such bans!) had to be repealed.

If people want to fuck themselves up on this stuff, there is no stopping it. A far better solution is education on what this stuff does to you.

I disagree with your take on this. People are going to fuck themselves up on ILLEGAL drugs. The least we can do is attempts to stop them from even getting here.

On educating, we are in total agreement there.

Wrong as usual. The problem are the shooters. Millions of Americans have guns and don't go out and murder people. Be smarter and more honest.

Ok, so if people are the problem, not guns, then why do you want to give the problem guns?

Are you fucking stupid? That's the only explanation that makes any sense.

Automobiles are used for transportation. They were not designed to kill. Guns are making America into a shooting gallery. We are nearing 50,000 gun deaths per year. Gun deaths are the leading cause of children's deaths. https://www.kff.org/global-health-p...earm-mortality-in-the-u-s-and-peer-countries/

Ok, so if people are the problem, not guns, then why do you want to give the problem guns?

We don't "give" anyone guns. They have to buy them after filling out a very intrusive questionnaire that checks their backgrounds.

These are only effective with law abiding citizens, the predominate portion of the gun owning public. For the tiny minority of lunatics out there, nearly every one of them got their guns through illegal methods.

If laws actually prevented crimes, why do we have so many crimes being committed? Could it be that criminals don't care about laws and therefore, break them? THINK before you emote!

Are you fucking stupid? That's the only explanation that makes any sense.

Projection. This from a small brained, triggered leftist liar who seldom exhibits any capability of thinking. Now answer my questions and THINK about your answers before making yourself look more retarded.

Yet they do kill and you don't care. I get that you don't want to ban something that inconveniences you.

How many of those are suicides? Why do you think it's okay to tell half-truths like the Trumpers on JPP?

As for kids, yes, it's tragic and there's a reason your link didn't break it down by race. Yes, America has a problem, but it won't be solved by shredding the Constitution and imposing an authoritarian state....no matter how benevolent you believe it would be.
