McCarthy rejects Rep. Greene’s claim that Jan. 6 rioter Babbitt was murdered

If the black rioter was a 100 lb unarmed woman and poses not threat and the police did not warn her I'd be pretty upset too. How about you would you be upset in those circumstances?

Her weight has nothing to do w/ it.

I actually feel terrible that she died like that. She seemed like a good person, who got in w/ the wrong crowd/message.

Trump is responsible. Trump has ruined so many people - it's hard to believe so many people still believe him, and are loyal to him. No one has ever benefited from that, in the long run.

She was a bad person. Good people don't attack the US Capitol.

Her weight had a lot to do with it. A well trained cop should have easily subdued her and made and arrest. Using lethal force on a 100 lb 5"2 female is just crazy. Michael Byrd is a coward and a murder. He never even tried to arrest her and she never even resisted arrest. The four armed cops behind her didn't try to use lethal force on her.

Actually, she was not a good person.

She had a violent road rage incident involving (tough to follow) the 6 year GF of a coworker who she was having an affair with. Said GF informed Babbitt's then husband about the affair, and it got violent. Restraining orders are in place.

None of which is a death sentence.

Acting to kill/injure legislators is, though

Dumb answer. The shooting immediately caused the other terrorists to retreat, despite being ordered to do so for hours already

If she was greeted nicely, and invited to tour 'the people's house' as you suggest, there would have been a flood of other terrorists who would have murdered one or more of our legislators.

The dog got what she deserved.

Chauvin did not murder floyd. Floyd was dying of a drug overdose and chauvin put him on the gound as per PD rules.

It happened in the middle of a riot, and she was part of a violent, aggressive mob making their way through the Capitol.

I don't think "you're under arrest" would have cut it in that circumstance. Those cops had to react quickly & think on their feet. They were completely overwhelmed.

Babbitt was trying to break in through a barricaded door. She deserved to die.
