Florida teachers have to hide books!

You are well excused.

These Trumppers need to focus on real issues, not these fake culture wars.

Do you have that link? And there are no culture wars... you need to stop imagining things...

When Virginia turned from blue to red, it became a personal issue with parents.

.There was nothing fake about their anger and resolve to stop the far left Democratic Socialists...and they did.

Guess I know what I'm getting my sister and BIL for an anniversary present.. do you have a link to that?

:rofl2: Said the pauper who recently told her married cyber boyfriend, H10, that she can't afford a new stove in her own hovel.

Let’s be clear, no person alive has ever been a slave or owned slaves.

Placing guilt where none is merited, especially six (6) year olds, is barbaric.

Let them complain here... the schools are doing what they're supposed to be doing and making the education of the children top priority...

Good point. Like the Toadstool, deSatan is great at finding culture war and fringe issues, and blowing them up into "Only I can save you from this liberal fascism!" That's because it's easier than dealing with actual issues that affect people's actual lives.
Like insurance costs for Floridians.

If they got angry, it was because they fell for fake news stories.

In years of yore, our teachers were super. They were almost 100% female. The principal, a man, taught a few classes.

In the small pueblo where I lived, the teachers knew our brothers and sisters, our parents and grandparents.

They had a cannery in the Agriculture Building where families could process their garden produce.

Had one of the teachers taught their six year olds, or any older children, that they bore the guilt of slavery (the "oppressed" and the oppressors") they would have ended up in one of the canning jars.

No, they were angry with good reason, so are parents across America.

You can say that black is white til Hell freezes over, but it isn't, ambulance chaser.

That is clear if you objectively watch what they do. Its like the outrage over the Seuss books. "Liberals" never had anything to do with the publisher deciding to stop publishing some poorly selling books.

Yes, it's clear that you have a difficult time focusing.

Dipping into the cooking Sherry a bit early this morning?

Do you believe one can teach guilt?

Should we stop teaching about atrocities of the past for fear someone might feel guilty about it?

It's interesting that the Reichwingers are so very, very concerned that little white kids don't feel guilty over stuff that happened long ago. But as self-proclaimed Xtians, they're just fine with original sin and all the guilt *that* involves.

Guilt was being taught...to six year olds. "Oppressor" and "oppressed" groups of six year olds.

Atrocities of the past should be part of History classes taught in high school and above, not to six year olds.

The teaching of morality is a parental prerogative, not a school prerogative.

We have been over this before.

Are you getting senile?
