I understand your example about religion, but this has nothing to do with that. Encouraging diversity is not a religion.

This has nothing to do with politics or "belief systems." This has to do with a particular fascist-leaning governor with a sympathetic RW legislature trying to protect the status quo, to keep real history from being taught, to force corporations to stop requiring employees to respect a diverse workplace and those who share it.

Well yeah -- it's okay to make weirdo kids feel bad, but not our little snowflakes. I wonder if the proscription on guilt includes making a bully feel bad for being up a "queer" kid?

Those are values, and not one teacher in any school is qualified to teach their own values in lieu of the parents' values. You don't get to fill them with a belief system you (and probably I) believe because you (and likely me) think they are wrong.

There is no such proof of that occurring. I have never ever seen anything like that. Ever heard of any children expressing guilt and remorse? No?
 
No book burners have been treated well in history. Knowledge is good for you. Reading does not harm you. It never stops at book burning.

Good point. Like the Toadstool, deSatan is great at finding culture war and fringe issues, and blowing them up into "Only I can save you from this liberal fascism!" That's because it's easier than dealing with actual issues that affect people's actual lives.
