Whereas there is some really dangerous scum on the streets...many of them now openly supporting MAGA...it's understandable that the police need weapons to match their adversaries. Same for gang related crime, and the organized drug runners who are armed to the teeth.

The problem is the mentality, as you stated. Why are cops in full blown riot mode for what they claimed was 'erratic driving'? We might need a minimum GPA/IQ for acceptance into the police.

I cannon disagree. The Memphis police chief's handling of the situation should be a model for all police forces. I hope if such a tragedy occurs anywhere else, no matter what ethnicity the cops or suspects are, that it's handled the same way.

There was a case a few years ago in Louisiana were a traffic stop ended in the black suspect being beaten to death. Except for one of the cops taking his own life, all are still on the force. The cops, of course, were white.

I don't think these 5 recruits were actually trained by any Police academy. I believe they were in a training exercise when they carried out this crime- just as in the Floyd case.

This group of people in the so called Scorpian GANG unit, work 8 weeks on and 8 weeks off.

They probably spend 8 weeks on the job, and 8 weeks participating in streetland Gang activities themselves when they are off.

The nature of this crime itself was a gangland style attack. Could have even been because this boy has spoke out or stood up to a gang before, BUT YOU COULD TELL THAT THIS WAS SOME KIND OF A RETALIATORY GANG HIT!

They were trying to set this guy up and kill him! This man was simply a target. And that is why they are being charged with MURDER 2!

I believe all this will come out in the investigation and trial!

The victim here was a FedEX delivery driver, and those guys have encounters with gangs all the time when delivering to certain neighborhoods.

People try to steal their trucks, and people try to steal their deliveries at stops and etc. Their jobs themselves are dangerous and risky work!

They're short of police now. The LAPD is losing cops daily. Why do you think that is? What could be done to staunch the bleeding?
