The White House Counsel’s Office would not answer why it failed for more than two months to publicly disclose that classified government documents had been found in a private office in Washington, D.C., that had been used by President Joe Biden before his election in 2020.

Biden, during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the North American Leaders’ Summit in Mexico, did not respond to a question from reporters about the documents, which were found by personal lawyers.

Former President Donald Trump suggested Tuesday that the Justice Department kept quiet about the documents’ discovery in order not to affect the outcome of November’s congressional elections when his fellow Republican candidates under performed expectations.
 
Also Tuesday, Rep. Mike Turner of Ohio, the top Republican on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, wrote Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines to ask her to conduct an immediate review and damage assessment about the Biden documents.

“This discovery of classified information would put President Biden in potential violation of laws protecting national security, including the Espionage Act and Presidential Records Act,” Turner wrote.

The Justice Department kept quiet about the documents' discovery (a federal crime) to help Biden win.

Most voters would want to know that a candidate for the presidency of the US has committed a federal crime.
 
The White House and the Justice Dept. covered up a crime committed by the POTUS.

The J/D is supposed to be the peoples' J/D, not the president's J/D.

This is the first time in US history that a sitting president and his coke addicted son are both under federal investigations.
 
It is my opinion that as the evidence and pressure both mount,.......Joe will eventually step down. Kamala has so many skeletons its not funny. Best we keep them under wraps for now,.....keep our powder dry for when its needed. ;)
