Failure is why your party fails
Fail to produce what? Also, I am not a Republican, so my party, which is no party, doesn't fail.

If you tell me you didn't vote Republican in the last two Presidential elections, I'll believe you aren't a Republican.
In my opinion, the only reason Trump got nominated for the 2016 election was Romney and McCain both proved such limp wristed, whiney, capitulating, sacks of shit that Republicans were inclined to vote for someone they perceived as having a spine.
It was actually Jeb that was considered the front-runner in 2016. He tried to run a conventional race against a carnival barking troll. What trump's victory proved is that today's conservative loves corrupt carnival barking trolls.
Trump won because the GOP has lost its way. And they are still lost - look at the people who are the faces & leaders of the party today.
Think about it: this used to be the party of Reagan. Reagan would be shocked & disgusted by what they have become. Most GOP politicians don't even reference him anymore.
THAT was a formidable party. They're a clown show now.

Bush came off as another Romney / McCain and that's why he lost. The Right / Conservatives were fed up with wooses who were too pussified to stand up to radical Leftists like Obama and tell them to fuck off. Trump won the nod for that reason.
You dodged the question.I did only to vote against the Left. If the Democrats offered better candidates, I'd vote for them. In the next election, I'll vote for Krysten Sinema for senator over the likely Democrat, Ruben Gallego, here in AZ because Gallego is a radical Leftist protégé of Socialist asshole Raul Grijalva.

Hajahahahahahahahahahaha
Your not a Republican
You just carry their water all day and night on the internets 24/7
Fuck you
You dodged the question.
Fuck the Democrats. Agreed, if they ran better candidates, yada, yada, yada. You ran from admitting you voted for Trump.
You're a Republican regardless if you are too embarrassed to admit it, Terry.
You could have voted for the Libertarian or other third party candidates, but you deliberately voted for Trump...twice. LOL
Even the Democrat leadership was happy to see the Clintons finally leave town.In the case of voting against the Hildabeast, I'd have voted for Cthulhu before her because contrary to popular fiction she is the greatest evil in the universe. Voting third party is a waste of time. If they actually had a shot at being elected, that'd be different.
^^^There is no viable third party in our present political structure.
Voting for third (or fourth or firth) party candidates is merely a way to deliberately fuck up the election
between the two viable ones
so that whichever is the preferred among the latter is not chosen.
If we actually develop alternate viable parties, fine,
although that would nullify presidential elections and move the choice to the House of Representatives.
Until we do, voting for other than the two viable candidates is mere petulance.

Standard reply of autocrats.
You attack Americans for voting their conscience instead of toeing the line to vote for a party that does not represent the best interests of all Americans.
Do you know Einstein's definition of Insanity? No argument. That's me, but I am being sincere, and I'll never change my autocratic tendencies. [Don't have the free will to do that!]
I've voted for every Democratic candidate since LBJ, and I've really disliked a lot of them.
To me, it's a binary choice, and since the other's party's core ideology is honestly repugnant to me, I vote for my party's nominee regardless of my personal feelings toward him/her.
Voting for my former governor Dukakis and for the Clintons was brutal, but it was my duty to try to beat their Republican opponents at any cost.
I wasn't thrilled with Biden either.
My selection in the Democratic Primary never gets nominated because on economic issues if not social ones, I'm well to the left of my own party.
There are only two viable ones, however, and I vote accordingly.
I tend to view libertarian types as anarchists, essentially because they are.
Do you know Einstein's definition of Insanity?
What about these catastrophes?:In the post Eisenhower era, allowing the Republican to win has invariably been catastrophic to the well-being of the republic.
I expect my party's nominee to be inadequate because he/she was not my Primary Election choice, but I KNOW that the Republican will be infinitely worse, and I also know that the other candidates are only there
for the petulant people who refuse to be realistic. Regardless of anybody's conscience, they're not viable and are only there to screw up the real choice,
Einstein's definition does not apply.
What about these catastrophes?:
JFK/LBJ - Vietnam
Jimmy Carter - Operation Eagle Claw AKA Desert One Cluster Fuck
Bill Clinton - Haiti, Bosnia, Battle of Mogadishu
BTW, I'm looking forward to you bringing up the Iraq War so I can post the Congressional Roll Call vote.![]()
