In some respects, but given our history as white people don't you think black people in the USA have a reason to be unhappy that we don't have in relation to them?

I see a LOT of white people on this forum who seem to really hate black people (they won't admit it directly, usually, but it's pretty obvious) and there's no real reason for them to do so. But a black person probably has been "redlined" out of a house, lost a chance at a job because their name was too "black", lost opportunities because they were born in the wrong zip code, etc. All of that is 100% the fault of white institutions. It is a lot less horrible than it used to be but clearly there are still some issues.

no..........if they are actually 'WOKE', they should understand that it's not only history, but it's less than 1% of the white population that's racist towards them. It's a new era and a majority of us just don't really care about a persons color, but their character.

No, of course not. But I bet she has plenty of reason to distrust MANY white people. I know you guys don't EVER like to listen to what black people say so I won't bore you, but it does seem that there's a reason for their disaffectation. You might have seen various "riots" on the news. Those kind of things don't happen when the majority of black people feel like they are getting a fair shake from the dominant race.

I talk to Black people all the time. As well as Indian, Arabic, Asian, and Native American. I get along with all of them. I work in the IT field. It doesn't bother me at all.
